Yoga is magic to Emily. She loves helping her students to connect with themselves, let their energy flow freely, and test their limits in a safe space. Just like her classes, Emily is creative, dynamic and fun. She is friendly and provides a supportive environment for her students with encouragement and support. Her classes flow with grace and ease. As an artist, Emily understands the importance of creativity and beauty and as a teacher she appreciates the importance of clear cues, sequencing and guidance. Visual imagery is used to assist students and Emily incorporates humour, stories and anecdotes to help students relate to the theme of the class. Emily creates a fun and playful environment with her relaxed conversational tone and this encourages students to explore new poses and find their edge. Students describe Emily’s classes as inventive and memorable.
