Welcome to Prana Yoga & Wellness!

We are thrilled to welcome you to our Yoga & Wellness community, conveniently located on the Mornington Peninsula, right in the heart of Dromana.

We created this space to offer a safe haven for everyone to either start or continue their Yoga & Wellness journey.

Prana translates to “life force energy”, and this really describes the core of all our practices.

Our “core” practice is Hatha Yoga. The term is derived from the Sanskrit ha, meaning “sun,” and tha, meaning “moon,” leading to the common interpretation that Hatha practices are designed to unite and balance these two energies. However, the literal translation of Hatha is “force,” alluding to the physical techniques used within this tradition. In modern terms, Hatha yoga has become associated solely with a physical practice, typically involving a sequence of asana (yoga postures) and pranayama (breathing techniques).

We also offer a range of slower paced styles, such as Yin Yoga & Restorative Yoga, as well as Therapeutic classes (Hatha Therapy), that are suited for students with limited mobility, range of motion or injuries.

All props such as high-quality studio mats, blocks, straps, and blankets are provided, and we enjoy a herbal tea and chat at the end of the class, where our students and teachers get to know each other as a beautiful, supportive and all inclusive community.

Through our various classes, events, workshops, and retreats, we aim to bring more light and upliftment into our community and to create a positive change in the world.

We offer a safe and authentic yoga experience, and our caring teachers will ensure you work at your own ability. With plenty of options for beginners and experienced students alike, we want to empower everyone to discover their individual path to a happy and healthy life.
