Yoga Fundamentals for beginners and seasoned practitioners

 Learn Yoga or Advance Your Yoga Practice with Our Yoga Fundamentals Classes

MONDAYS at 7:15PM - starts 17th April

With so many yoga classes to choose from, it can be challenging to determine where to begin or how to progress with individual yoga journeys. That's why, over a period of 16 weeks, we will explore a variety of yoga practices including Vinyasa, Yin, Slow Flow, and Gentle Yoga. Each 4 weeks, we will focus on a different practice, with each class designed to provide a unique experience that will leave you feeling refreshed, energized, and balanced. Throughout the course, modifications and variations of the poses will be offered to accommodate all levels of experience and ability. Additionally, the teachers will instruct on the proper usage of props to enhance the your yoga experience, and offer personalised advice and adjustments. We will also explore different breathing techniques and mindfulness practices to help us stay present and focused throughout the practice. By the end of the course, you will have a deeper understanding of a variety of yoga practices, and the tools to continue to explore and develop your practice. Whether you are a seasoned practitioner or new to yoga, we invite you to join us on this journey of self-discovery, transformation, and renewal.

MONDAYS 7:15PM


17th April – 8th May - we will begin with Vinyasa, a dynamic and flowing practice that synchronizes breath with movement. Vinyasa is a great way to build strength, flexibility, and stamina, while also calming the mind and promoting mental focus.


15th May- 5th June - we will shift our focus to Yin Yoga, a slow and meditative practice that emphasizes long holds in passive poses. This practice is designed to release tension in the body, improve flexibility, and promote relaxation and inner peace.


12th June - 3rd July - we will explore Slow Flow, a gentle and fluid practice that combines movement, breath, and mindfulness. This practice is great for beginners and seasoned practitioners alike, as it allows us to slow down and tune into our bodies, while still building strength and flexibility.


10 - 31st July - we will focus on Gentle Yoga, a slow pace and low intensity practice. This practice is designed to bring balance to body and mind, and it is great for those with movement challenges due to age, injury, and other health issues.

Fundamentals - Vinyasa Yoga

Fundamentals of dynamic and fluid practice of Vinyasa Yoga - a yoga practice that synchronises breath with movement. Vinyasa is a great way to build strength, flexibility, and stamina, while also calming the mind and promoting mental focus.


Each week, over the 4 Mondays, we will focus on a different theme and sequence of poses. The classes will be structured to help you build strength, improve your flexibility, increase your breath awareness, and cultivate mental focus. The pace of the classes will be fluid and rhythmic, with a focus on synchronizing the breath with movement.


  1. Introduction to Vinyasa Basic poses, Alignment & Breathing techniques 
  2. Vinyasa Flow, Sun Salutations A & B
  3. Standing poses, Forward bends, Twists & Core strengthening
  4. Putting everything together to move through a Vinyasa flow yoga sequence.

Introduction to Yin Yoga

Introduction to Yin Yoga, a slow and meditative practice that emphasises long holds in passive poses using mats and props for support. A restorative yoga practice, focusing on deep tissues, ligaments, and joints throughout the body.


Each week, over the 4 Mondays, we will focus on a different theme and sequence of poses. The classes will be structured to help you release tension, promote relaxation, improve your flexibility, and cultivate a sense of inner peace and calm.


  1. Introduction to Yin Yoga, Yin Poses, Breathwork
  2. Hips and Lower Back Yin, Mindful meditation
  3. Twists, forward folds and heart openers Yin
  4. Putting everything together through Restorative sequence & Guided relaxation

Explore Slow Flow


Mondays 7:15PM

start 12th of June

Explore Slow Flow, a gentle and fluid practice that combines movement, breath, and mindfulness. In Slow Flow, the basic principles of Vinyasa Yoga are maintained, but the pace is slower, with longer holds and more mindful transitions between postures. 


Each week, over the 4 Mondays, we will focus on a different theme and sequence of poses. The classes will be structured to help you build strength, improve your flexibility, increase your breath awareness, and cultivate mental focus. The pace of the classes will be slow and steady, with an emphasis on mindfulness and intention in each movement.


  1. Introduction to Slow Flow Yoga, Warm-up poses, Sun Salutations
  2. Slow flow, Mindful movements & Balancing poses
  3. Gentle backbends, Heart openers, Hip openers & Shoulder stretches
  4. Putting everything together to move through a Slow flow yoga sequence

Gentle Yoga

start 10th of July

Experience therapeutic benefits of Gentle Yoga, a slow pace and low intensity practice. This practice is designed to bring balance to body and mind, and it is great for those with movement challenges due to age, injury, and other health issues.


Each week, over the 4 Mondays, we will focus on a different theme and sequence of poses. The pace of the classes will be slow and gentle, with longer holds supported by props in each pose, and slow transitions. 


  1. Introduction to Gentle Yoga, Gentle Flow, Restorative poses,
  2. Gentle backbends, Hip openers,
  3. Shoulder stretches & Mindfulness practices
  4. Gentle Flow sequence, Guided relaxation & Breathwork
