Looking for a unique and transformative experience?
Dance meditation is a potent practice that merges the physical movement of dance with the mental focus and introspection of meditation, creating a moving meditation that lets individuals connect with their inner selves through bodily expression.
What to expect?
For the first 30 minutes, we will begin with a general guided warm-up session to loosen up our bodies and get familiar with the surroundings. You will receive instructions as we progress. Over the next 30 minutes, we will gradually move from structured movements to more creative and explorative ones. We'll walk around, roll, and connect with the space around us. For the next 20 minutes, we'll transition from individual exploration to group engagement. This is where the session gets truly captivating. Finally, we'll spend 10 minutes winding down, focusing on our intentions and bringing our attention back to ourselves.

MONDAYS at 7:15PM - starts 17th April
Are you new to yoga or looking to explore different styles? Look no further! Our yoga fundamental classes offer a unique experience every 4 weeks, introducing you to a different style of yoga. From Vinyasa to Slow Flow, Yin to Gentle Yoga, you'll have the opportunity to discover which style resonates with you the most. Additionally use our Intro Offer - 2 weeks of unlimited classes to get to know our community and further explore yoga practice that is best for you.
17th April – 8th May - we will begin with Vinyasa, a dynamic and flowing practice that synchronizes breath with movement. Vinyasa is a great way to build strength, flexibility, and stamina, while also calming the mind and promoting mental focus.
15th May- 5th June - we will shift our focus to Yin Yoga, a slow and meditative practice that emphasizes long holds in passive poses. This practice is designed to release tension in the body, improve flexibility, and promote relaxation and inner peace.
12th June - 3rd July - we will explore Slow Flow, a gentle and fluid practice that combi�nes movement, breath, and mindfulness. This practice is great for beginners and seasoned practitioners alike, as it allows us to slow down and tune into our bodies, while still building strength and flexibility.
10 - 31st July - we will focus on Gentle Yoga, a slow pace and low intensity practice. This practice is designed to bring balance to body and mind, and it is great for those with movement challenges due to age, injury, and other health issues.

This is a yoga practice of hearing and feeling, using the senses both external and internal to create better health, well-being and relaxation. Stress, anxiety, anger, fatigue, depression, sleep disorders, busy mind; when the frequency of a sound synchronises with our brainwaves, it automatically activates de-stress responses in our body, clearing energetic blockages and facilitating healing on all levels.
Sound healing yoga is simple, easy and effective. You are in a comfortable position and move into awareness mode, not concentration mode, where there is no effort just listening and allowing the sounds to do their work.
In the session used are harmonium, hammered dulcimer, bowls, bells and percussion interwoven with healing chants of the east, to create peace, joy, contentment, lightness, calmness and rejuvenation.

Prana Yoga & Wellness offers free Yoga memberships, special events, and free use of the yoga studio to Dromana Community House clients. Change is in the air - can you feel it ?
As we slowly transition from lockdown this week , it may bring up a lot of anxiety and uncertainty - it sure has for me .
So many unknowns, it’s been hard to put into words.
On my walk today I was thinking of a simple mantra to use to help ground and coming back to the heart - this is what I came up with :
💫 Trust - Instead of fear
💫 Compassion- instead of division
💫 Surrender- instead of control
And who knows, we might be able to welcome you back into the studio a week earlier than anticipated 🤞💜

We are so excited to announce our collaboration with Elisha Raine from @thehummingbirdconnection , who will be hosting monthly Sound Healings in our beautiful studio, commencing Friday 30/07/21 7pm-8pm.
These will be held on a monthly basis on the last Friday of the month, and to celebrate this wonderful co-creation we are offering for this first event to bring a friend for FREE!

Elisha comes with a wealth of experience, she has been teaching yoga since 2004 alongside sound healing and energy healing. She is qualified in Yoga Therapy, Sound Healing, Hahnemann Healing and Yin Yoga, and graduated her studies in Kids Yoga and Yoga Therapy through Zenergy Yoga.
She is a member of the IICT and holds both a Diploma in Spiritual Counselling and a Diploma in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
