The Yoga Fundamentals class covers the foundational aspects of Vinyasa yoga practice. This class will prepare you for the Slow Flow - Vinyasa and other Vinyasa styles offered at the studio. Catering to both beginners and seasoned practitioners, it imparts crucial principles such as proper alignment, basic postures, and essential breathing techniques utilised in these class styles. This supportive environment allows beginners to gradually explore and develop their practice, establishing a robust foundation. For experienced practitioners, the class offers a valuable opportunity to refresh techniques, move at a slower pace, and delve deeper into postures. It's an inclusive space where participants of all levels can refine their understanding and enhance their yoga journey.

  • Emphasis on coordinating breath with movement.

Basic Poses:

  • Introduction to foundational yoga poses, Standing poses, Forward bends, Twists & Core strengthening

  • Instructor provides cues for proper posture and alignment.

Mindfulness:

  • Beginner-friendly balance poses to improve stability.

  • Incorporation of relaxation at the end.
